Festival of the Falling Leaf
In 2018 the Festival will celebrate its sixty fourth anniversary and this year’s theme is ‘Tumut, Then & Now’.
Tumut, Then & Now represents a look back at those things which made Tumut what it is today, and to celebrate where we are now as a community.
The festival includes the cherished and long standing Coles street parade and the Snowy Hydro Market Place with stalls, food and live entertainment for the whole family. In the evening the Festival hosts the spectacular Visy fireworks display.
There is something for everyone on Festival day, including great market stalls, rides and activities for the kids, live music entertainment and lots of delicious food and drink.
Festival goers can kick up their heels with some old fashioned bush dancing including the ‘heel and toe polka’, and ’Do-Si-Do’ when our headline act the Australian Bushwackers Band take to the main stage.
The Festival starts at 9am and officially kicks off with the Coles Street Parade from 12.30pm with festivities continuing down in Bulla Park at the Snowy Hydro Market Place and Entertainment precinct until 4pm. Then up to the Bull Paddock in the evening for the Visy Fireworks display at 7pm.
