The Snowy Valleys Cycle Challenge is a personal challenge cycling event with rides for every level from beginner to advanced, through the picturesque foothills of the Snowy Mountains.

Take part in one of 5 unique length challenges across the Snowy Valleys and enjoy spectacular views in and around the townships of Adelong, Batlow and Tumbarumba:

  • 16 km Beginners’ route
  • 45 km Beginner/ intermediate route
  • 72km Intermediate route
  • 144 Km Advanced route
  • 160 Km  

Run by the Rotary Club of Tumut Incorporated, with assistance from the Rotary Clubs of Batlow and Tumbarumba.

There are three rides of varying distances, through the picturesque foothills of the Snowy mountains, there’s something to test every rider from the eager novice to the seasoned climber. The western slopes of the Snowy Mountains are known for their varying terrain, climbs, hills, and sweeping descents.

 SVCC is a personal challenge event – not a race. The event is on public roads. All riders must comply with NSW road rules, directions by police and officials at all times.
