All listed activities are for ages 12 to 18yrs except the shuttle bus from Tumut to Gundagai

Wednesday 11 July - Movie and Ten Pin Bowling in Wagga Wagga - Return shuttle bus trip from Tumbarumba

For young people aged 12 to 18 yrs living in or near Tumbarumba, a chance to catch the free shuttle bus provided by Snowy Valleys Council to Wagga Wagga to watch a movie and go ten pin bowling.

The Bus will travel return trip to Wagga Wagga Forum 6 Cinemas and Wagga Wagga Bowl.

Cost per person for a movie and bowling is $19 per person for under 15yrs, $20 for 15yrs and up and $21 for 18yrs. For lunch participants can purchase food at their own cost or bring their own prior to departing.

Shuttle bus departs from Tumbarumba Countrylink bus stop at 9.00 am returning to town by approximately 5.00 pm (unless informed otherwise).

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL, Phone 6948 9163 by no later than 3.00 pm Tuesday 10th of July. All participants under 18yrs require a parent or guardian’s consent to travel.  

Thursday 12 July - Tumbarumba Mountain Bike Flow Trails - MTB Shuttle Ride  

All the downs, none of the ups! Get to ride the Tumba Flow Trail over and over without having to ride to the top. A small shuttle bus will transport riders back to the start of the run.

  • 10.00am to 1.00pm 
  • $5 per rider, includes snacks and refreshments

Participants are required to bring their own bike, helmet and appropriate bike riding apparel, riding gloves are also encouraged. Parent or guardian sign in is required for those under 18yrs, a participation waiver must be signed by all participants before riding.

Friday 13 July - Dungeons and Dragons – Table-top role-playing introduction sessions

Free entry! Hosted by local game enthusiast and instructor Sam Hughes this 3 hour introduction session is for players aged 12 to 18 years.

In this session participants will learn how to play one of the most popular role-playing games frequently referenced in popular culture and television including the recent hit series from Netflix ‘Stranger Things’.

D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue and much more! These sessions are free but places are limited.

  • Batlow Library - 10.00am to 1.00pm
  • Tumbarumba Library - 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July - Shuttle Bus return trip from Tumut to Gundagai LAN Gaming Tournament

For participants needing travel to the Gundagai Neighbourhood Centre LAN Gaming Tournament.

Bus will depart from Tumut Countrylink bus stop on Russell Street at 8:15am both days. The return trip departs Gundagai Neighbourhood Centre at approximately 9.00pm Saturday and 5.00pm Sunday arriving back in Tumut approximately 9:30pm and 5:30pm respectively.

  • For ages 15-25yrs,
  • $5 per person return per day
