After the disappointment of last Saturday night’s cold and wet weather, and subsequent cancellation of the Batlow Pool movie night, the event has been rescheduled to this Saturday, 20th January.

Council’s Youth Development Officer Evan Saunders and the Batlow Interact Group have been working hard since last week to lock down a new day to hold the much-anticipated event.

“We’ve checked the Bureau’s forecast and it’s predicting a mostly sunny 34 degrees in Batlow for this Saturday which is perfect conditions for a pool party”, said Cox Cox, Council Director Strategy, Community & Development.

Families can enjoy watching Despicable Me 3 (PG) on the Movies by Moonlight inflatable movie screen, while relaxing on their li-lo in the pool or sitting on picnic rugs on the grassed areas around the pool’s edge.

Rotary’s Batlow Interacte Group will have a sausage sizzle and light refreshments for purchase on the night.

Entry is $5 per person or $20 for a family of five.  Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

Gates open at 7.30pm with the movie starting at 8.15pm. BYO li-lo.
