Expressions of Interest – Youth Holiday Programs

Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from businesses, organisations or individuals who deliver activities and workshops aimed at youth between 12 and 24 to help us expand the range of safe, affordable and fun activities delivered as part of Council’s jam-packed school holiday programs.

If you are a  provider who currently delivers youth programs, or members of the community who have an idea they think would work really well and you could provide as part of the School Holiday Program we want to hear from you.

We are looking to expand on the current array of youth holiday activities by inviting expressions of interest from individuals & local small business that are keen to facilitate youth holiday activities within the SVC region.

Being a recognised part of Council’s School Holiday Program means you will have your event promoted across the region and collaboratively work with Council to ensure events are successful for the participants as well as event organisers.

School Holiday Activities

Local kids can enjoy a host of budget friendly activities, events and workshops during school holidays.

Snowy Valleys Council’s school holiday programs are jam-packed full of events for kids of all ages.  The aim of the programs is to provide a variety of safe, affordable and rewarding recreation, leisure and skills development opportunities for young people.

Each school holidays a program of youth activities will be on for locals and visitors to enjoy in towns across the Council area.  Activities in the past have included art workshops, skate park events, music programs, bus trips as well as more adventurous activities (youth activities are usually for people aged 12 and over, with some activities open to all ages).
