Winter Driving in the Snowys

Weather conditions can deteriorate quickly in the Snowy Mountains.  You may encounter snow, ice, wind, fog, black ice and also wildlife on our local roads.

Wtih many visitors and trucks travelling around the region including heavy vehicles relating to the Snowy 2.0 project, please be patient when driving, slow down, turn on your headlights and drive to conditions.

For up to date road conditions check livetraffic.com and listen to the local radio stations.
