SVC Recovery Sub-Committee - Forest Industries

Overview 

The role of the forest industries sub-committee is to lead and coordinate the planning and implementation of re-purposing, modification of processes, reestablishment and recovery. The subcommittee is responsible for providing specialist support and advice on key issues confronting industry and the community reliance.

The local networks and existing groups to be utilised to inform a needs and capacity assessment would include:

  • Softwoods Working Group
  • Major businesses impacted such as Visy, Hyne, AKD, Borg, Hume Forests
