Seniors across the Snowy Valleys area are being encouraged to enjoy new experiences, continue learning, impart their skills, and have fun in celebration of the 2021 NSW Seniors Festival.

Snowy Valleys Council Mayor James Hayes said each year the Seniors Festival provides the opportunity for older people in the community to make new friends or get together with old ones.

“Council is pleased to be partnering with Murrumbidgee Local Health District and the NSW Energy and Water Ombudsman in fostering opportunities that promote social integration and connectedness for our older residents who are essential to fabric of our community,” Clr Hayes said.

In celebration of this year’s festival activities have been developed to enhance inclusive communities and provide opportunities for seniors to try new things, contribute, and remain active and engaged in their local communities.
