Celebrating Women in Small Business

Snowy Valleys Council is celebrating NSW Small Business Month by hosting two free workshops recognising Women in Business.

Council has collaborated with local Tumut based Business Development Coach Claire Marwick, from Reignite Performance Coaching who will leading two free workshops in October for women in business, entitled ‘Raising The Bar’.

“Female small business owners often juggle other jobs and responsibilities and hosting these workshops is a positive way that Council can help to assist and support our local business women,” said Kylie Bradley, Council’s Coordinator of Economic Development.

Held in Tumut and Tumbarumba, the workshops will be an evening of networking, inspiration, fun and learning and aims to have attendees leaving feeling empowered, driven and ready to take their business to the next level.

The workshop dates are:

  • Tumut – Tuesday 15 October from 5.30pm to 7pm at Brooklyn on Fitzroy, 10-12 Fitzroy St, Tumut.
  • Tumbarumba - Wednesday 23 October from 5.30pm – 7pm at Snowy Valleys Council Chambers, Bridge St, Tumbarumba.
