Donated Generators Available to Not-for-Profit Groups

Not-for-profit organisations involved in emergency response or recovery are being encouraged to apply for a free petrol generator to use in their operations.

Snowy Valleys Council was the benefactor of a generous donation of portable petrol generators via the national online charity group GIVIT for the greater benefit of the community.

Council is now seeking applications from groups who are interested in receiving one of the donated generators.

Generator Specifications (full specifications available on request):

  • Make: GENESYS;
  • Model: Portable Generator 9kVA Petrol;
  • Max run time: 16 hours;
  • Electrical-Phase: single phase;
  • Fuel type: Unleaded;
  • Rated AC Voltage: 220V, 120V.

Organisations applying must play a role in emergency response or recovery. Preference will be given to applications that provide a benefit to the broader community.
