Media Statement - Boundaries Commission

Snowy Valleys Council was advised by the Boundaries Commission this morning that they had submitted their report on the proposal to de-merge to the Minister for Local Government, the Hon Shelley Hancock MP, for her consideration.

“Council is pleased to know the Commission has finalised their report and I have sought an update from the Office of Local Government about the next steps.

“In the meantime, it remains business as usual for Councillors and staff as we continue to be focused on delivering services and projects to the community”.
