Pool Party Celebrations On Australia Day

Australia Day celebrations in the Tumut Region will also feature the ever popular Australia Day pool parties at the Batlow, Adelong and Tumut pools.

Participants can enjoy free entry, BBQ and fun activities like thong throwing competitions in celebration of Australia Day.

Mayor James Hayes is encouraging all Snowy Valleys Council residents to participate in their local Australia Day celebrations.

“While Australia means different things to different people, it is a day that welcomes everyone to reflect and celebrate their Australian experience – the past, present and future”, Mayor Hayes said.

Hosted at the Adelong, Batlow and Tumut Community pools, the pool parties will make a splash with games, entertainment and lots more.  The free pool parties commence at 2pm and finish at 6pm.
