The stadium is getting a new roof installed as well as new flooring. The project is fully managed by Council, with support from the Tumbarumba Sports Academy.

Works involve:

  • Removal of existing roof
  • Supply and fit new roof
  • Removal of solar from existing roof and replacement once the new roof is installed
  • Demolish existing flooring surface
  • Repair flooring structure
  • Replace flooring with new wooden surface, sealant and line marking

Funding

The project is Funded with a $300,000 NSW Stronger Country Communities Grant.

Project Update - August 2024

Work on the timber flooring replacement is underway. The old floor has been removed, and preparations for laying the new floor have begun. The revitalised wooden surface will be complete with expert sealing and clear markings. The project is expected to be completed by October.

Project Update - May 2024

The new roof has been installed in the Colourbond colour monument to match existing building finished. New roof insulation has also been installed and the solar panels that were removed from the old roof have been reinstated on the new roof. The next stage of the works involves the replacement of the floor. The new flooring has been delivered to the stadium and is acclimating to the environment.
