Get ready for the Youth Council Fair on Sunday, 13 April at Tumut Boys Club Hall.
Hosted by the Snowy Valleys Youth Council, this interactive event connects young people with local groups, clubs, and volunteers—no shopping, just fun and engagement.

The Snowy Valleys Youth Council is thrilled to invite the entire community to the Youth Council Fair, a free activity-packed celebration in honour of Youth Week 2025.

The Fair is all about fun, connection, and creativity - a vibrant event designed by youth, for youth, and packed with hands-on activities, interactive experiences, and community spirit.
Forget the usual marketplace—this fair is about participation, not purchases! Local community groups, clubs, and volunteer organisations will come together to inspire and engage the next generation in a day full of fun and engaging opportunities.
There will be a range of activities led by the Youth Council including:
- Games Galore – Badminton, ring toss, cornhole, mini soccer, and more
- Highest Jump Challenge – Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- Paper Plane Competition – Three rounds of flying fun with awesome prizes
- Pool Noodle Battle Royale – 1-minute battles every half hour with prizes for champs
- Battle Armor Station – Craft your own shield and helmet
- Colourful Hair Spraying
- Photo Booth – Full backdrop and fun props for great memories
Plus:
- Try A Sport sessions with Tumut and District Hockey
- Cupcake decorating fun with Selina’s Cakes
- Bracelet making workshops with Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Creative crafting with beaded pens and more with Flip Paint and Scribble
- Face painting for all ages with Pengar Arts
- Giant Connect 4 and Jenga, a "Favourite Thing About Tumut” leaf art installation, teen book displays, and a suggestion box for young readers with the Tumut Library team
There will be a youth-curated song list playing for all-day vibes, and the Do It For Batlow fundraising team will be selling delicious BBQ food and drinks to keep the hunger at bay.

Chill out at Tumut Library with your mates for a free arvo of gaming, snacks, and fun.
Take on the Nintendo Switch & PS4, battle it out over board games, and just hang out. Open to youth 12+—no cost, just good vibes!
