Access Information

Council is committed to assisting members of the community in accessing information about Council. The following information will help you to access particular details about Council's structure and functions, how you can participate in the formulation of our policies and the exercise of functions, the information we hold and will make available to you and the ways in which you can access Council's information.

Government Information Public Access

We are committed to assisting members of the community in accessing information about Council. Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, (GIPA) there are four ways you can access information about Council

Register of Pecuniary Interest

The Local Government Act 1993 provides for the management of pecuniary interests. It places specific obligations on councillors, council delegates, key council staff and other people involved in making decisions or giving advice on Council matters to act honestly and responsibly in carrying out their functions.
