Your Councillors
Snowy Valleys Council is made up of nine publicly elected Councillors.
The role of elected Councillors is to direct and control the affairs of Council, representing the interests of residents while providing leadership and guidance to the community. The majority of decisions are made at Council meetings, which are held each month. It is the mayor’s role to preside at these meetings and act as the public face of Council.

- Profile“I believe passionately that the Snowy Valleys communities have much to gain by working together, to deliver better amenities, facilities and opportunities. Snowy Valleys Council’s financial issues result from forced amalgamation and cost shifting, we must make this clear to the government. I am future focused and want SVC to be cohesive, successful and consultative.”
