Council operates a range of early childhood education and care settings in the Tumbarumba area catering to families and community needs.

Enrolements Open for 2027

How to Enroll

Please fill out our expression of interest form(DOCX, 261KB) and return via email, mail or in person, staff will then be in contact to arrange enrolement for your child / children.

You will also require the following supporting documents:

A copy of the child’s birth certificate www.service.nsw.gov.au
The Child's up-to-date immunisations statement from Medicare www.humanservices.gov.au
Parent & Child’s CRN (Centrelink Reference Number) www.humanservices.gov.au

Once all this information is you will be asked to log on to your 'My GOV' account and confirm the child’s enrolement.

Carcoola Children's Centre

Carcoola is a long day care centre providing education and care for children aged six weeks to school age. During school terms, Carcoola also offers before school education and care.

Puggles Children’s Services Van

Puggles is a mobile children's service based out of Tumbarumba. The Service Van travels to rural and remote communities on a fortnight roster, providing education and care in family groupings for children aged 6 weeks to six years.

Tumboosh

Tumboosh is a Council service that provides out of school hours education and care for children who attend primary school. Tumboosh provides after school care (during school terms) and vacation care (during school holidays), for a maximum of 20 children per day.

Toy Library

Toy Library caters for children ranging from 0 – 12 years of age and have an extensive range of toys and games available and deliver resources to a point near you.

Khancoban Preschool

Khancoban preschool provides an early childhood education program in accordance with The Early Years Learning Framework providing play-based early childhood education for children aged 3 to 5 years with the flexibility of providing casual positions to 2-year old’s.
