Tumboosh
Tumboosh is a Council service that provides out of school hours education and care for children who attend primary school. Tumboosh provides after school care (during school terms) and vacation care (during school holidays), for a maximum of 20 children per day.
Tumboosh complies with the Education and Care Services National Regulation, which includes participating in the National Quality Standards Assurance process. To which Tumboosh received an exceeding rating in 2016.
Educators strive to provide a leisure and recreational based program offering children a wide range of activities based on their own choice and interests.
A Tumboosh educator collects the children from either school (Primary and All Saints) and they are then walked back to the building to delve into the afternoon activities and preparing their afternoon tea which is audited by the Munch and Move program of ‘Eat Smart, Play Smart’
Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays and during the Christmas period)
- After School Care: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
- Vacation Care: 7.00am to 6.00pm

How do I enroll?
Please fill out our expression of interest form(DOCX, 261KB) and return via email, mail or in person, we will then be in contact to arrange enrolement for your child / children.
You will also require the following supporting documents:
Once all this information is received we will then ask you to log on to your 'My GOV' account and confirm the child’s enrolement at Tumboosh.
