Community Services

Council operated Community Services include Children's Services, Tumbarumba's Multi Services Outlet and Community Transport in both Tumut and Tumbarumba.

Community Safety and Security

Council recognises and celebrates the unique character of our region’s towns and villages and we are committed to fostering vibrant, accessible and welcoming communities.

Events and Activities

Grants, Sponsorship & Scholarships

Council offers different grant, scholarship and sponsorship opportunities to support eligible individuals,community groups, clubs and organisations.

Business and Economic Development

As the the arm of government closest to the community Council has a unique role in recognising and enhancing the identity of local places as key economic assets and is actively involved in encouraging investment, place management, activation and supporting local businesses of all sizes.

Volunteering with Council

Volunteering with Council can be highly rewarding, fun and is suitable for all ages and backgrounds. If you would like to volunteer your time you will need to register and complete our online volunteer registration and induction program. Registration is free.
