Council is committed to supporting a strong, resilient and prepared community. The safety of our communities, customers and employees is our top priority.

Community Services

Council operated Community Services include Children's Services, Tumbarumba's Multi Services Outlet and Community Transport in both Tumut and Tumbarumba.

Grants & Scholarships

Council offers different grants to support eligible community groups, clubs and organisations

Volunteering with Council

Volunteering with Council can be highly rewarding, fun and is suitable for all ages and backgrounds. Once you have agreed to volunteer your time you will need to register and complete our online volunteer registration and induction program. Registration is free.

Road Safety

Snowy Valleys Council plays an active role in road safety within our community by developing and implementing practical solutions to help reduce road incidents.
