Water Filling Stations
Our Water Fill Stations provide emergency drinking and raw potable water access. Water filling stations are for residential customers and commercial water carriers.
When you use a filling station you will need to bring:
- a water container
- a hose
- hose attachments – the filling stations have a 25mm hose tap outlet and a 50mm and an 80mm camlock outlet.
You can buy a hose and the attachments from most hardware or irrigation stores.
PAYMENTS
- You can pay with a credit or debit card, including pre-paid cards (Visa and Mastercard only).
- The current price of potable drinking water at the filling stations is $2.95 per kilolitre.
- The current price of raw water at the filling stations is $1.35 per kilolitre
A minimum purchase value of 3KL applies

Water Hydrants
The use of standpipes to draw water from Water Hydrants is NOT permitted.
With the exception of Emergency Services and Council officers, the drawing of water through a hydrant standpipe is considered theft and penalties apply.
