Australia Day

Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on our people, culture, climate and landscape and to celebrate who we are as Australians

Council conducts citizenship ceremonies on behalf of the Australian Government as needed. The ceremonies are usually held in conjunction with Council Ordinary Meetings or to coincide with important national celebrations like Australia Day (January 26), and Australian Citizenship Day (September 17).

Media and Photographic Consent Form

We love showcasing our people, places and events but only with your permission. Our Media and Photographic Consent Form explains how we may use photos, videos or recordings, and gives you the choice to opt in. It’s all about making sure you’re comfortable with how your image is shared and understand our privacy statement.
