Parks & Sporting Grounds

Council owned and maintained sports grounds are available for a wide range of uses. In addition to sporting club use, sporting venues are frequently used by residents and community groups for purposes of “one-off” social gatherings, casual sport, annual festivals and events.

Anyone wishing to hire a sporting venue must complete a Community Facility Park Use Agreement Form and submit to Council for approval.  Please note fees and charges may apply.

Youth Recreation Areas

• Adelong: Corner of Campbell and Lynch Street - Skate park, basketball court. BBQ, (toilets in adjacent Adelong Memorial Park)
• Batlow: Memorial Avenue -Skate park, basketball ring and back board, netball court, (toilets in adjoining football pavilion)
• Tumbarumba: Creek Scape, Hammond Street  - Skate park, pump track, basketball half court, toilets, covered BBQs and tables, playground, outdoor fitness equipment
• Tumut: Fitzroy Street, overlooking the Tumut Bull Paddock - Skate park, pump track, basketball court, playground, outdoor tables, toilets.
