Julia Ham has been on Council since 2016. Her goal is to work on the financial sustainability of Snowy Valleys Council, complete the demerger process, escalate updating the Local environment plan (LEP) and work with energy infrastructure providers to get the best outcome for the community and affected land holders.

Julia Lives on a merino sheep farm in the Oberne Creek. Half an hour from Tumbarumba, Rosewood, and Batlow, and 45 minutes from Tumut. Her work as an educational consultant reflects her interest to ensure high quality in Children’s Services and Education in SVC.  

Julia is an active member of the RFS, Chair of the Tarcutta Valley Landcare Group, Former Councillor rep on ARIC, committee member with Tumbafest and the President of the Tumbarumba Start Strong Preschool building committee.

Julia has a love of the region and a positive approach to working to make Snowy Valleys Council area grow with the help of an active and engaged community.
