School leavers, mature-age job hunters, or those looking for a career change can now apply for traineeships, cadetships and apprenticeships with Council.
Snowy Valleys Council continues to honour its commitment to providing opportunities for local growth by announcing its 2024 Entry Level Program.
Positions range from 12 months to eight years and can be tailored to meet both the needs of the candidate and the business.
Eight entry-level roles are currently available across a range of functions including GIS & Assets, Health & Safety, Customer Service, Water & Wastewater, Childcare, Parks & Gardens, and Growth & Development.
The entry-level positions offer exciting opportunities for people to learn on the job while undertaking a vocational or tertiary qualification and successful applicants will be supervised by fully qualified staff and receive quality education that matches their requirements.
Course fees are covered by the organisation or government, and candidates are offered paid time to complete their studies. The skills learned will enable them to leave the program as well rounded and competent employees, able to take on new challenges in new fields.
People from all backgrounds and with varying needs are encouraged to apply.
Applications close on Sunday 3 December 2023. For more information and to apply online visit www.svc.nsw.gov.au/careers
