Adelong Creek Riparian Stabilisation Work

Council has secured funding from the NSW Severe Weather and Flood Grant, provided by the NSW Office of Local Government, to clear debris along Adelong Creek’s public recreation areas and to design and repair the creek bank, reducing erosion and protecting native wildlife habitats.

The work will focus on two areas along the creek—one near the end of Selwyn Street and another behind the Adelong Showgrounds. We are collaborating with NSW Fisheries and State Agencies to develop the project scope and prepare a brief for quotation.
