Snowy Valleys Council is calling for expressions of interest from local businesses who would like to participate in a second round of its Business Photography Project.

Successful participants will be matched with a professional local photographer and receive a portfolio of images to use in promoting their business.

Council’s Executive Director Community and Corporate Paul Holton said round one of the project saw 35 businesses from across the region receive free professional photographs to help them promote their goods and services.

“The first round of the project was supported through the Bushfire Community Resilience and Economic Recovery Fund and due to its success Council is funding a second round which will take place in September 2021,” Mr Holton said.

Since receiving their portfolio of images, participating businesses have used the photographs to broaden exposure of the product and services they provide.

Mr Holton said participating businesses in round one were from a range of industries, including hospitality, agriculture, viticulture, and service providers including real estate and banks.

Owners of J & J Corbett Family Trust at Yaven Creek, John and Jenn Corbett participated in the first round and said they had a great time working with all involved in the photography project.

“The photos that were taken of our business are being shown to future clients and used on our social media. It shows off to the equine world our sought-after genetics we have here in the Snowy Valleys area.”

For more information or to receive an EOI form, interested businesses are encouraged to please contact Council via email at [email protected].

Businesses that submitted EOIs in round one but missed out will be sent the EOI form directly.
