Expressions of Interest to Purchase and Remove Abandoned Vehicles

Snowy Valleys Council invites tenders to purchase two abandoned vehicles that have been impounded under the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021.

• Impound Number 2024/0002 - 1998 Suzuki Grand Vitara Unregistered, includes keys.  Not Running.  VIN Number JSAFTD62V00101916
• Impound Number 2024/0001 - 2007 Nissan X-trail T30 - Unregistered includes keys.  Not Running.  VIN Number JN1TBNT30A0220266

The vehicles are currently being held at Council impound yards in Tumut and may be inspected by appointment during business hours. To book an inspection contact Council’s Rangers on 1300 275 782.

Tenders must include the impound number(s) of the vehicle(s) to be purchased, name, address, phone number and email address of the tenderer, the offer price, and if successful, when the vehicles could be collected (not before Monday 16 September 2024).

The highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Late or email tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders must be made in writing and should be marked ‘Tender for the purchase of abandoned vehicle’ and be lodged at Council’s customer service counter, Riverina Highlands Building, 76 Capper Street Tumut no later than 4:30pm on Friday 30 August 2024.
