Local tourism businesses and operators keen to showcase their business or organisation in the new Snowy Valleys Visitor Guide have until 31st July to submit their application.

With plans to update the guide on a bi-annual basis, businesses and organisations who purchase a listing will enjoy having their business promoted through the Snowy Valleys Visitor Guide for the next two years.

“The guide aims to showcase the vast array of natural features, attractions, accommodation options, adventure possibilities, and foodie experiences on offer across the Snowy Valleys region,” said Matthew Hyde, Council’s General Manager.

Set to launch in time for summer 2019, the printed guide will be distributed across the Snowy Valleys region and via Visitor Information Centres throughout NSW, Vic, ACT, SA and Qld. It will also be available electronically on the Visit Snowy Valleys website.

Preference will be given to businesses located within the Snowy Valleys Council area but those in surrounding areas are also invited to apply.

“The Snowy Valleys Visitor Guide is the next stage in the roll-out of our new regional destination brand, and we encourage those involved in the visitor economy in our region to take advantage of this opportunity” said Mr Hyde.

Copies of the Prospectus are available from the Visitors Centres and Council’s Customer Service team in both Tumbarumba and Tumut, or from Council’s website at www.svc.nsw.gov.au/EOI-visitor-guide
