All Hands on Deck workshops, focused on spontaneous volunteering in disaster response.

Funded by the NSW Reconstruction Authority and delivered by Alpine Valleys Community Leadership, these workshops are designed to support spontaneous volunteers — the people who step in to help before, during or after disaster events — with the confidence, knowledge and clarity to act safely and effectively.

Disaster response doesn’t start with emergency services – it starts with the people who are already there. Neighbours looking out for each other. Locals showing up, pitching in, and doing what needs to be done.

The sessions are practical, place-based and open to anyone. You don’t need to be part of a formal organisation to take part. Whether you’ve helped out before or just want to be more prepared, this is for you.
