Southern NSW Drought Summit

The Snowy Valleys region remains drought-affected despite some recent rains, and Mayor Julia Ham is working with Mayors from other drought-affected regions to host an online Drought Summit on Monday, 4 August at 12noon.

Farmers, landowners and other stakeholders whose livelihoods are directly impacted by drought are encouraged to attend the summit to help raise the profile of what’s occurring.

Mayor Ham said the summit is designed as a catalyst for unified action and knowledge exchange, with a primary focus on the current drought and building long-term resilience across regions.
