Free KidsXpress Workshops for Youth Week
Published on 09 April 2025
Young people across the Snowy Valleys are invited to take part in free workshops that encourage self-expression and self-esteem through fun, creative activities.
The KidsXpress Youth Workshops, supported by Snowy Valleys Council and the NSW Government’s Department of Communities and Justice, will take place in Khancoban, Batlow, Adelong, and Tumbarumba during April.
Aimed at youth aged 10-24 years, participants will engage in Icebreaker Games, a creative Art Project, Group Discussions, and other fun activities that reinforce positive messages.
Workshop Details:
- Tuesday 15 April, 10:30pm-12:30pm at the Khancoban Community Hall
- Tuesday 15 April, 2:30pm-4:30pm at the Tumbarumba RSL Memorial Hall
- Wednesday 16 April, 10:30am-12:30pm at the Batlow Literary Institute
- Wednesday 16 April, 2.30pm – 4.30pm at the Adelong S&C Club “The Bowlie”
These workshops provide a safe and supportive space for young people to celebrate who they are and what they bring to the world.
Through interactive activities, participants will explore their identity, strengths, and aspirations, aligning with this year’s Youth Week theme of recognising the power and potential of young people as influencers, leaders, and decision-makers.
Bookings are essential. For more information or to register, visit www.svc.nsw.gov.au/events
