NOTICE OF MOTION - FOOTPATH EXTENSION - FOREST STREET TUMUT - CR ANDRIANNA BENJAMIN – Resolved to undertake a strategic assessment and feasibility study, including needs analysis, concept design and cost plan for extending the footpath at the Franklin Public School in Forest Street, Tumut and linking the footpath to the residential housing estates on the east side of the Snowy Mountains Highway.  A report for consideration is to be presented at the October 2021 meeting.

DRAFT COUNCIL SEAL POLICY – Adopted the Council Seal policy and rescinded the superseded Use and Custody of Common seal policy

FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AS AT 31 MAY 2021 AND STATEMENT OF INVESTMENTS - JUNE 2021 – Received the financial reports.

DRINKING WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2020 – Endorsed the Annual Report for submission to the local Public Health Unit, NSW Health.

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION FINDINGS REPORT AND SPATIAL ASSESSMENT PLANS - FORMER BATLOW CANNERY SITE – Agreed to release the Community Consultation Findings Report and Spatial Assessment Plans for public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

DECLARATION OF NEW DOG OFF LEASH AREAS – Declared Bicentennial Park in Tumbarumba a Dog Off Leash Area and resolved to undertake further consultation with the Adelong Progress Association and the Batlow Community and Cultural Association to identify suitable locations for Dog Off Leash Areas in Adelong and Batlow.

SVC RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE GRANTS – Noted that 16 community projects had been awarded $   in the 2021 SVC Recovery and Resilience Grants.

MINUTES - TUMUT AERODROME COMMITTEE - 22 JUNE 2021 – Resolved to develop a proposal for additional hangar space and seek expressions of Interest from the community

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR HANGAR LOT 8 AT TUMUT AERODROME – Awarded the licence deed of Hangar Lot 8 at Tumut Aerodrome to the Rural Fire Service subject to the RFS agreeing to pay the site fees according to Councils adopted fees and charges.  Agreed to donate an amount equivalent to the site fees to the RFS for the 2021/22 year and consider further donations in future budget deliberations.  Asked to receive a further report for the consideration of Council as part of the 2021/22 first quarter budget review process for the provision of additional hangar space at Tumut Aerodrome.

SALE OF LAND FOR UNPAID RATES AND CHARGES - Authorised Council staff and Custom Collection Services to proceed with the necessary arrangements pertaining to the sale of the properties listed in the report and delegated authority to the CEO to take specific actions pertaining to the properties.

RFT 2021/05 - DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF BOMBOWLEE CREEK ROAD BRIDGE – Awarded the tender to Bridge & Marine Engineering Pty Ltd for the design and construction of Bombowlee Creek Road Bridge, for the amount of $1,880,450.00 including GST.

RFT 2021/07 - DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF MULTIPLE PREFABRICATED BUILDINGS AT BATLOW CARAVAN PARK – Resolved not to accept any of the tenders and to not invite new tenders. Authorised the CEO to enter into negotiations with a contractor for the Design, Construction, and Installation of multiple prefabricated buildings at the Batlow Caravan Park Project, noting that this may require the rationalisation of the scope of works for the project.
