Morning Tea to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Snowy Valleys Council Mayor Julia Ham invites the community to join her in marking International Women’s Day with a relaxed and engaging morning tea.
“I hope many will join me and our inspirational speakers to celebrate the achievements of women, foster community spirit, and share in a morning of encouragement and camaraderie,” said Cr Ham
Attendees will enjoy a memorable morning tea featuring delicious refreshments, engaging conversations, insights from inspiring local women. and a complimentary goodie bag.
- Wednesday 12 March at the Nest Café, Tumbarumba | 10 am – 12 noon
- Friday 14 March at the Riverside Café, Tumut | 10 am – 12 noon
Tickets are only $10 per person and spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
