Study Scholarship Applications Open

Applications are now open for the 2024 Snowy Valleys Council Scholarship through Charles Sturt University.

Local students who are either entering their first year of university or continuing their studies can apply for a Council scholarship through Charles Sturt University.

Eligible students must have completed Years 11 and 12 in the Snowy Valleys region and be living or have a parent residing in the area.

In this round two successful applicants will each receive $5,000 to assist with university costs.

The scholarship money aims to help take some of the pressure off university expenses like textbooks, travel, and tools, allowing students to focus on their studies.

Recipients of the 2023 Snowy Valleys Council Scholarships were Brooklyn Hotham, Brianna McAuliffe and Triniti Hussell.

Council is proud to partner with Charles Sturt University to assist local students with their educational expenses, and over the years the program has been successful in supporting many local students with their studies.
