Study Scholarships Now Open for Local Students

Applications are now open for the 2023 Snowy Valleys Council Scholarship program.

The scholarship aims to support three eligible Charles Sturt University students with the opportunity to apply for a $3,500 scholarship.

Eligible students must have completed Years 11 and 12 in the Snowy Valleys region and be living or have a parent residing in the area.

The scholarship money aims to helps take some of the pressure off university expenses like textbooks, travel and tools, allowing students to focus on their studies.

The scholarships are available to local first year Charles Sturt University students as well as continuing students.

Recipients of the 2022 Snowy Valleys Council Scholarships were Brianna McAuliffe, Amelia Murray, and Rose Petfield.

Snowy Valleys Council is proud to partner with Charles Sturt University to assist local students with their educational expenses.

The Snowy Valleys Council Scholarship is run through the Charles Sturt University Foundation Scholarships program, and over the years has been successful in supporting many local students with their studies.
