Youth Council Fair A Call for Community Groups and Clubs to Get Invol
Published on 26 March 2025
The Snowy Valleys Youth Council is excited to announce the upcoming Youth Council Fair, a vibrant and engaging event in celebration of Youth Week 2025!
The event will take place on Sunday, April 13th, at the Tumut Boys Club Hall, and local community groups, clubs, and volunteer organisations are invited to join as stallholders.
The event aims to foster active youth engagement and participation, creating an interactive experience rather than a traditional marketplace focused solely on purchases.
Being a stall holder and participating in the Youth Council Fair is a fantastic opportunity for groups and clubs to showcase their purpose, attract new members, and inspire youth to get involved in community activities.
Fun ideas that groups and clubs could present as part of their stall include:
- ‘Try a Sport’ Sessions
- Interactive Workshops
- Team-Building Challenges
- Fun Games & Competitions
Youth Week is a state-wide celebration, organised by young people for young people, providing an opportunity to come together, share experiences, and explore new opportunities.
Participation in the Youth Council Fair is free, and interested parties are kindly asked to prepare an interactive activity to ensure an engaging experience for youth attendees.
To get involved please contact Council’s Events Officer at [email protected] or call 1300 275 782.
