The new amenities building at the southern end of the existing car park, on the site of the old storage room, is now finished. It features modern home and away changerooms with showers and toilets, as well as wheelchair-accessible and ambulant facilities for spectators and users. It also features a kiosk, referee room, storage areas, and a covered verandah overlooking the oval.

The outdated facilities which were opened in 1997 were demolished to make way for the new building, providing Tumut with a modern space to host sporting events, reduce congestion at other local fields, and give local teams an improved facility to enjoy their favourite sports.

Funding

The project was funded by an $800,000 grant from the NSW Government's Round Five of the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
