Tumbarumba Water Boil Alert

Recent bushfire conditions in Tumbarumba have caused problems with water treatment making drinking water in the Tumbarumba Water Supply System unsafe.

Raw water is being fed directly into the Tumbarumba Water Supply System to maintain supply of water in town for firefighting purposes.

Forestry Road Closure in the Blowering Area

Weed Control Spraying at Tumut Ecology Reserve

On display until Saturday, 29 February 2020

Council is conducting Weed Control Spraying to combat Serrated Tussock, opposite McAlister Street and adjacent to Sydney Street in Tumut, with the herbicide ‘Fluproponate’. In concurrence with the Local Land Services office, access via vehicle, cycle or pedestrian traffic is restricted in that area until further notice.
