Expressions of Interest Open for Australia Day Awards Working Group

Local community members are being encouraged to nominate to be part of the 2022 Snowy Valleys Australia Day Awards Working Group.
Council is seeking expressions of interest from a diverse range of people who are passionate about making sure the unsung heroes in our community are recognised for their efforts.
The SVC Australia Day Working Group is responsible for recommending award recipients to Council as well as the planning and conducting of the official Snowy Valleys Australia Day event with assistance from council staff.
Plans for next year’s event are underway and the working group will have a role to play in the lead up to the event, as well as helping on the day.
The 2022 Snowy Valleys Region Australia Day Awards will celebrate the outstanding local achievers who have contributed to the Snowy Valleys region in an exceptional way.

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on Wednesday 17th November 2021. The Australia Day Working Group will register as Snowy Valleys Council Volunteers.
