Street Banners

Council aims to support and promote community events, festivals, and the local region through the use of street banners in Adelong, Batlow and Tumut where purpose built banner poles are located.

  • The size of a street banner is 6 metres long and 1 metre deep,
  • The banner should be constructed of a durable material that will withstand all weather conditions, and be capable of withstanding a wind force of 33 metres/second.
  • Wind holes must be cut into banners 
  • A fee to cover installation and removal of banners applies to non-profit organisations. This fee is payable 1 month prior to the banner booking date. There is no hire charge for the use of banner poles. Click here to access Council's current Fees and Charges Schedule
  • Flag poles are not available for hire. These are for Council use only.
  • Full payment for hire, installation and dismantling of banners is required upfront and bookings are not final until payment is received.
