Caddy liners

Households with a FOGO service can access one free roll of compostable caddy liners each year with a digital voucher. Click here to find out more

You can also buy caddy liners from Council offices or resource recovery centres. Council supplies lime green, 8-litre compostable bags (Cardia Bioproducts PSB-C-0121-A). Each roll contains 150 bags, enough to last most households about a year.

Only compostable bags certified to Australian Standard AS4736 are accepted in FOGO bins. When buying bags from supermarkets or online, look for the seedling logo – anything else will contaminate the load.

Where do I get a FOGO caddy?

All households with a FOGO collection service received a kitchen caddy when the service began. If you need a replacement, you can purchase one from Council offices or resource recovery centres. For current fees and charges visit www.svc.nsw.gov.au/Council/Fees-Charges

Handy tips

  • You can also go without a liner – just don’t use plastic bags.
  • Wash your caddy regularly by hand or in the dishwasher to keep it fresh.
  • Eat more, waste less – plan meals and shop with a list so you only buy what you need.
