Batlow Caravan Park Itinerant Worker Accommodation

Construction of infrastructure at the Batlow Caravan Park to increase accommodation available for itinerant workers who are employed in the horticultural industry across the region.

Batlow Pool Upgrade

Improvements to the Batlow Pool have been welcomed by the community. The exciting upgrades included a new learn-to-swim pool and splash play area and new amenities.

Batlow Reedy Creek Park Repatriation Project

Repatriation works to Reedy Park Batlow including the removal of damaged or destroyed vegetation and replacement of the walking bridge have been completed.

Brindabella Road - Maintenance and Repair Project

Safety improvement works will be undertaken on a 10km section of the Brindabella Road from the Goodradigbee River to Piccadilly Circus.

Brungle Road Blackspot Roadworks

Safety improvement works have been undertaken along Brungle Road between Wee Jasper Road and Cockatoo Road. The $680,614 project funded by the Federal Government’s Black Spot Program was completed in June 2023.

Khancoban Pool Upgrade St 2

Stage two of the Khancoban Pool upgrades include new amenities, the installation of solar to help lengthen the pool season and a new fence around the pool facility.

Multipurpose Centre

We’re building a community gathering, sporting and events destination space. In times of emergency, the facility will provide a large, safe gathering space and a vital assistance point for the community.

Richmond Street (Tumut) Reconstruction Project

Upgrades to Richmond Street, opposite Tumut Swimming Pool were completed in June 2023.

Tumbarumba Goldfields Park Upgrades

Upgrade Goldfields Park with new amenities building, improved pathways and landscaping, picnic areas and seating.

Tumut Aerodrome Upgrades

This two staged project will deliver significant upgrades to the non-commercial Tumut Aerodrome.
